La Pa La One, citrus from Metzert
Two childhood friends, brewing brought to the village in 2018 and a citrusy blonde: an introduction to brewing in the Pays d'Arlon.

A small Pays d'Arlon village
La Pa La One comes from Brasserie de Metzert, in the municipality of Attert and the Arlon district. The official tourism profile presents a characterful blonde with citrus aromas. It complements major regional names with a village-scale story. The Pays d'Arlon is not limited to its spring aperitif: contemporary brewing also has places and faces here.
Two friends and two production stages
The business was created in 2015 by childhood friends Simon and Jérémy. The first beers were produced at Brasserie de Breuvanne; since January 2018, production has been in Metzert. This succession is important: it distinguishes a brand's birth from the arrival of its own village facilities. Erasing the first stage adds nothing, because the journey is precisely what makes it interesting.
A blonde retaining character
The brewers' fair presentation gives La Pa La One as 5.5% ABV, with citrus on nose and palate and light bitterness. These pointers identify it without inventing a long fruit or spice list. Blonde describes a family and general appearance, not a complete prediction of flavour. Here, the stated thread is the dialogue between citrus expression and beer character.
A family of playful names
La One is not the only La Pa. The tourist office also describes amber La Pa Gaille, dark La Pa Soir and lager La Pa Lourde. Their wordplay makes the range immediately recognisable. It is another reason to read the full name: a photograph of another La Pa would depict a different product. The names' cheerful tone tells of a village brewery without inventing an old legend.
Planning your discovery
For purchases or meeting the makers, confirm contact details and visitor possibilities with the brewery. The Ardenne Belge Tourisme listing identifies location and range. Small-scale production can evolve and not every shop stocks every bottle. The documentary photograph depicts Saint-Donat in Arlon, a district landmark; it shows neither Metzert facilities nor the product.
Drink in moderation.
